applications to promote water conservation and operator safety. To address these issues Mega has designed the
DiSCS® - Digital Spray Control System.
Mega's DiSCS system is designed to promote water conservation and safety by providing adjustable, automated spray applications. DiSCS can be installed on any off-highway water distribution equipment. Mega also offers kits to upgrade older DiSCS systems to the most current version.
Mega DiSCS 2.0 uses a switch control panel based on CAN Bus protocol and is water and dust resistant. The DiSCS switch pad LEDs light up with varying colors which indicate different watering patterns and controls.
Powering up the DiSCS spray system is effortless and our water pump time-out function safety feature protects the water pump from being run dry.
Mega offers replaceable magnesium anodes for both new tanks as well as kit form to retrofit existing tanks. These pencil-type sacrificial anodes help extend the life of the tank by protecting it from corrosion and are threaded to allow for easy inspection. Replacement is simple as the external mounting location eliminates the need for confined space operations.
All Mega spray heads are adjustable and can be fine tuned to provide the optimal water distribution for a specific application. This allows for high efficiency, reduced water consumption, and prevention of roadway over watering.
